How One Mother's Dream Grew
Bebemoss founder Izabela Ersahin began making toys while living in Istanbul. During a difficult pregnancy, creating toys became a meaningful project. As demand grew, she encountered other talented mothers who wanted to earn money but needed work compatible with family life.
Instead of treating that challenge as an obstacle, she built a business around it: a social enterprise that values skilled handwork, flexible schedules, and economic opportunity for women.
Bebemoss has reported working with more than 120 women artisans over the course of its growth. The exact size of its artisan community can change, but the idea behind it remains powerful: give talented women the chance to earn through their skills.
